Blue Nest 4Y

An intimate residential project where a deep, muted blue tone sets the entire character of the space. Blue Nest 4Y explores how a single colour – applied with consistency and nuance – can unite a small home and give it a clear identity. The blue wall tones shift with the light throughout the day: cool and clear in the morning, deep and enveloping in the evening. Against the blue backdrop, natural materials contrast warmly: light wood, untreated ceramics and sand-toned linen. The project is proof that colour, when used with confidence and intention, is the most powerful design tool of all.
